Cremona (CR), 8 November 2023 – GREEN OLEO S.p.A. (the ‘Company’ or ‘GREEN OLEO’) one of the leading European producers of fine oleochemicals from renewable sources, announces that it has completed the activation process of its new finished products warehouse.

The new facility, highly automated and with a storage capacity of more than 2000 pallet spaces, represents a flagship in terms of sustainability, an element on which Green Oleo bases its mission.
The new logistics, in fact, has been coated with a catalytic paint capable of decomposing NOX generated by the combustion of fossil fuels with an efficiency equivalent to 8-10 trees per 100 square metres of surface area.

Green Oleo is aware that air pollution is a kind of ‘silent, invisible killer’ that, according to the estimates of the World Health Organisation (WHO), still causes numerous diseases, especially in South-East Asia and the Western Pacific regions. Therefore, reducing pollution is one of the aspects that the Society intends to monitor in its work.

The warehouse has also been equipped with photovoltaic panels with a peak power of 141.44 KWp, which represent a significant contribution to reducing the carbon footprint of human activities.

Once again, Green Oleo has managed to combine an effective environmental contribution with an improvement in the service offered to customers.

Based in Cremona, Italy, the company was acquired by the Buzzella family in 2012, when it was merged with a business unit historically active, since 1925, in oleochemical production and previously owned by Croda Cremona S.r.l.
