Green Oleo – Achieves ISCC Plus certification

Green Oleo S.p.A announces to have achieved ISCC PLUS Certification for its products made from sustainable raw materials.

The Sustainability Product Certification against the ISCC PLUS scheme applies to the production of sustainable products, in particular in the case of GREEN OLEO to the production chain of chemical products with sustainable raw material origin.

ISCC, acronym for International Sustainability & Carbon Certification, was created to enable companies to meet sustainability requirements; ISCC has developed the voluntary certification scheme ISCC PLUS, which, through the principles of traceability throughout the supply chain with a so-called ‘Mass Balance’ approach, guarantees public and private entities in relation to the sustainable content of the product.

Obtaining ISCC PLUS Certification testifies to GREEN OLEO’s competitive advantage in response to the challenges that the market is imposing on companies with regard to sustainability issues and eliminates the risks of Green Washing.

The report ‘Linking Voluntary Standards to Sustainable Development Goals’ highlights how ISCC PLUS is among the product certification schemes that meet more than the 17 UN Sustainable Goals; the achievement of this Certification demonstrates how proactive GREEN OLEO’s commitment to the SDG’s is.
