THE FUTURE LIES IN ETHICS

The company considers it essential to respect with the regulations in force for all matters, as well as to pay due consideration to the expectations of its stakeholders.

In the interests of legality and Corporate Social Responsibility, Green Oleo has developed a system of tools geared towards ensuring that a high standard of ethics is maintained: the Code of Ethics is a pillar of that system. Inspired in part by the Ten Principles adopted by the United Nations Global Compact, the Code establishes a series of rules of business ethics that any person or entity that has dealings with the company is bound by, along with Green Oleo itself.

The Code of Ethics is designed to complement the Organisation, Management and Control Model. The Model is intended to prevent and combat that may constitute an offence under Legislative Decree 231/2001. The Model maps out activities considered sensitive, establishes rules of conduct, lays out information and training activities, establishes the Supervisory Body, and outlines the system of sanctions in order to ensure the effective implementation of the Model itself.

These two documents are merely part of a series of codes of conduct, policies, procedures, guidelines and organisational arrangements which are also essential for the development and communication of our values.
